Kenton Elementary School is hosting Leadership Day on Wednesday, March 23 from 8:30 to 12:00. The school is a Leader in Me school. We will be hosting over 50 parents and community members on Wednesday for a day of student-led activities to show off all the great things happening at our school.
For example, visitors will attend grade level “town hall” meetings, led by students. They will have the opportunity to visit our Leadership Club Fair. Every student in our school is a member in one of the 81 leadership clubs at our school. These clubs have about 15 students and are on topics from everything from cooking to crafts, to baseball statistics, to recycling to Legos! The gym will be full of displays about each club with students from the clubs on hand to talk to guests.
Guests to our school will also go on a student led building tour and attend a panel discussion with students, parents and staff members.
