Mrs. Jones’ class completed their 8th grade Earthquake and Volcano chapter over the last month which culminated with a project. Students were put into groups and then randomly drew their topic (there were 4 Earthquake and 4 Volcano topics). Groups worked in class together for 3 days to plan their presentation. One of the requirements was to have a creative piece in their presentation when they shared with the class. Some groups chose to make models, some did demonstrations, some did skits, and some did Kahoot or Quizizz types of games to review with the class.
