During Library specials this week All student’s Kindergarten First and Second made Christmas cards for a young soldier from Kenton that was deployed on Thanksgiving Day. Kenton High School Class of 2020 graduate Tyler Buxton to his destination with over 300 other soldiers. The students made cards to share Christmas joy with Tyler and his troops. All students received a toy soldier to be reminded of the joy they sent for Tyler on Christmas Day. Pictured above is Tucker Oglesbee holding a picture of Tyler. The cards are on the side of Tucker and there is a display set up to remind the children the following weeks before break about Tyler and his troops.
