Kenton, OH – The Ohio Department of Transportation is investing in Kenton City Schools by increasing traveler safety at the intersection of Township Road 114 and State Route 53. The ODOT District 1 Safety Review Team recommended the purchase of right-of-way for sight distance improvements at the intersection in what they call a “sight triangle.”
“I am thankful for ODOT’s investment in making sure our students can get to and from school safely,” said Chad Thrush, Superintendent of Kenton City Schools. “This intersection sees heavy traffic now as parents drop off KES students. It will only increase once the new Middle-High School is opened.”
