Kenton Middle School’s Power of the Pen team recently competed at the state tournament at Ashland University. Students got to stay in college dorms overnight and enjoy the college campus. Congratulations to Mandalee Dyer and Emalyn Bauknecht, the competing writers, who were accompanied by Kayla Lambert, Kylee Kavanagh & Gabe Davidson, who served as runners. Special shout out to Emalyn for advancing to the final round that day, which represented approximately the top fifty 7th grade writers in Ohio!
