The Wildcats opened WBL in style last night with a come from behind 5-2 victory. KSA moves to 4-0 on the young season and 1-0 in WBL play. After trailing 2-0 going into halftime the Wildcats needed belief and a spark and with 20 minutes left in the game the Cats scored 5 unanswered goals! Parker Osborn started the comeback when scored off a cross from Josh Rich. The Cats tied the game at 2-2 when Micah Bowman fed Josh Rich. KSA took the lead when Chris Villa snuck in a corner kick. Micah Bowman buried a free kick to double the lead and Gus Wingfield played Josh Rich through for the final margin of 5-2. Hayden Holland had 7 saves in goal for the Cats. Shawnee outshot Kenton 10-8 in the contest and both teams had 5 corners on the night. The JV cats fell 4-0 and dropped to 2-1 on the year. Cats are back in action Saturday at Riverdale with a boys/girls doubleheader. The boys play at 5 followed by the girls at 7.
