The Kenton boys junior varsity golf team hosted St. Marys in a Western Buckeye League (WBL) matchup on Thursday, but came up short, falling 213-198 at Veterans Memorial Golf Course.
St. Marys turned in a strong team performance, using consistent scoring to secure the road win.
For Kenton, Luke Hensel led the team with a round of 51. He was followed closely by Brayden Lowe, who carded a 52. Tate Ketcham, Brady Cole, and Ethan McNamara each finished with matching scores of 55, while Jace Murphy added a 57.
Despite the loss, the Wildcats showed depth across the lineup and will look to bounce back in their next outing as they continue WBL play.
