The Lady Wildcats faced Rossford at Merold Field. The girls started the game moving the ball well, but a breakaway by Rossford got the scoring started to put the Bulldogs up 1-0. Rossford would score two more to take a 3-0 lead in the second half. The Wildcats would answer late in the half on a penalty kick by Reese McKinniss, making it a 3-1 final score.
The Wildcats will be back at Merold Field on Tuesday where they will face Celina. JV will start at 6pm with Varsity at 7pm.
