Kenton’s Girls Tennis Team traveled to UNOH in Lima for the WBL tournament. Amanda Van Horn started the day by dropping her match to Van Wert’s Lauren Gearhart 0-6, 1-6. Presley Wilson defeated Maylee Fishbach from St. Mary’s Memorial 6-3, 1-6, 6-0. Presley then fell to Celina’s Katie Guingrich 1-6, 0-6. Presley finished the afternoon by losing to Bath’s Briley Kaple 0-8. Presley will play Lilly Delaney from Defiance on Saturday, Sept. 27 for 7th place in second singles. McKenna Stanforth lost to Defiance’s Camy Ulaszeski 4-6, 2-6. At first doubles, Ottawa-Glandorf’s duo of Megan Gustwiller and Kasey Inkrott defeated Katelyn Stevenson and Mia Vermillion 6-0, 6-0. At second doubles, Kenton’s Katie Lowe and Diana Nease dropped their match 6-7 (6-8), 1-6.
Presley Wilson resumes play on Saturday, 9/27 at UNOH. Kenton’s team hosts Bluffton on Monday, 9/ 29, 2025 at 4:30 pm.
