The Kenton Lady Cats opened WBL play tonight with a victory at Van Wert by a score of 44-29. The Cats fought through 1st half foul trouble and came out with a strong 3rd quarter to open up a lead. Great team defense by all and great man to man from Emori Criner and Jaz Long was the story of the game. The Cats were led by Sidney Payne with 14 points. Brylee Bostelman and Kaiden Gammon each scores 8 points. Emori Criner had 6 points while Kaylee Barlow ended with 4 points. Jaz Long and Allyson Rhinehart each had 2 points. The Lady Cats move to 3-1 on the season and 1-0 in the WBL. The Cats next play on Thursday 12-11 at home in the New Gym vs Shawnee.
