The Kenton Wildcats traveled to Bucyrus Saturday to compete in the Wynford Winter Classic. Each team bowls 16 baker games and the top 4 teams compete in the finals.
Kenton finished with a 3219 pin count which placed them in 1st place going into the finals.
The Wildcats then had to wait for 2 matches to be completed before they could begin the finals against Bucyrus. The champion was determined by a 3 game total pin match. Kenton defeated Bucyrus 588 (147 – 227 – 214) to 570 (194 – 141 – 235) to win the tournament.
