Phase II Reopening changes

The Kenton City Schools has changed the start date for Phase II of our reopening plan to Monday, September 21, 2020. Our hope is to start face-to-face instruction five days a week for families who have chosen the school based pathway. The type of instruction we are able to offer will be based on the Ohio Public Health Advisory System and the Hardin County Reopening Plan.

If the county is yellow or orange we will be going to school five days a week for students in grades 1-12. If the county’s status is red or purple we will be following our hybrid or remote model. Information regarding the instructional models are available on the district website.

Families with students in preschool and kindergarten will receive information about what school will look like as soon as it becomes available. Each principal will send specific information about their building reopening plan and hybrid models.

Any family that cannot start school in person on September 21, 2020 should contact their building principal. If you have any questions about Phase II, please contact your building principal.
