KCS Alumni Committee Applications
The Kenton City Schools Alumni Committee is accepting applications for people who wish to serve a term starting January 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023. The positions available are two alumni members (graduate of Kenton High School) and a current KCS employee (employee is defined as any certified, classified or administrative employee who graduated from Kenton High School). Anyone interested should complete the application form and return it to the KCS BOE offices no later than December 4, 2020.
KCS Alumni Hall of Fame applications are open
The Kenton City Schools’ Board of Education is pleased to announce that the third class of Alumni Hall of Fame inductees will be selected in March 2021. The Alumni Hall of Fame will honor the exceptional achievements and unique talents of KCS graduates who significantly encourage others to inquire, dream and excel. Nominees for this recognition must have graduated from Kenton High School at least ten years prior to the nomination date and should demonstrate excellence in one or more of the following areas: achievement, character, citizenship, community, humanity, leadership or philanthropy. Candidates may be nominated posthumously.
Nominations can be entered in this online form or you may download this form and print it out to complete. Forms can also be picked up in the superintendent’s office at the Board of Education. Completed applications may be submitted by mailing a copy to the district superintendent. The deadline for submission of nominations is 4 p.m., February 1, 2021. The mission of the Hall of Fame is to serve as a testimony to cultivate the educational foundation and empowerment of our graduates who positively influence and contribute to the well being of our community and society.
