Job Opening – Assistant Cafeteria Supervisor

ADMINISTRATIVE POSITION 2022-2023 (Beginning on October 1, 2022)



Minimum high school diploma.  Proficient communication skills including verbal, written and electronic.

Holds or is qualified to obtain as soon as possible Serve Safe-Manager Level Certification.

Must provide an acceptable BCI/FBI background check.

Committed to learning and complying with and teaching coworkers NSLP and SBP standards.

Computer skills:  able to easily create documents, experience with PaySchools and/or Health-e Pro software helpful.

Accurately maintains required records and reports.

Places weekly food orders, receives food shipments and maintains monthly inventory.

Maintains a clean and sanitary work area.

Utilizes standardized recipes and established food preparation procedures.  Experience in quantity cooking desired.  Desire to implement new ideas/recipes, etc.

Skilled knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.

Knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods, techniques and quality standards.

Knowledge of food service lines set-up and temperature requirements.

Ability to perform physically demanding work that includes lifting/moving large and heavy items.

Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks.

Develops and sustains mutually respectful relationships with all others. 

Maintains a professional appearance.  Wears work attire appropriate for the position.

Maintains an acceptable attendance record and is punctual.

Fosters and sustains a work environment that is positive and enriched with learning.

Maintains confidentiality of staff and student information.

Excels at customer service and exceeding expectation.  Actively looks for ways to improve services.

210 day contract
