The Kenton City School Board of Education has approved the hiring of Kolt Buchenroth to the position of Director of Communication with the district. In the newly created role, Buchenroth will be responsible for internal and external district communications, media relations, and digital media.
“We’re excited to welcome Kolt back to the district,” said Superintendent Chad Thrush. “Kolt has been working for KCS since he was in the 6th grade. He’s always been a loyal and hard-working young man who has proven himself in the communications industry. There is no doubt our district and community will benefit greatly from having him at the helm of Kenton City Schools communications.”
Buchenroth is a 2017 graduate of Kenton High School and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Communication from The Ohio State University in 2021 and comes to Kenton after working in the private sector.
