Firefighters from the Kenton Fire Department visited Kenton Elementary School on Wednesday during fire prevention week. The firefighters talked with students about having a home fire escape plan, a safe meeting place, how to call 9-1-1, and talked about the fire trucks and what firefighters wear in the event of an emergency.
