Kenton Middle High School Groundbreaker a Success

Rain couldn’t dampen the spirit of hope at the Kenton Middle-High School groundbreaking event Saturday.

Students were the focus of the groundbreaking event, featuring student performances by the Kenton High School Band and Kenton Top Twenty.

Government & school leaders with construction partners ceremoniously broke ground at the site of the future Kenton Middle-High School. Following the groundbreaking ceremony, The Kenton High School Football Team coordinated a Muddy Tug-of-War event. Food trucks and KCS clubs were hosted by the Business Professionals of America chapter.

Site preparation work for the school is expected to begin later this summer. The building is scheduled to open in 2025. The community is encouraged to keep up to date with the new school’s progress at go.kcs.me/newschool.
