The Beautification Pavilion was an idea to help enhance the entrance to Kenton Elementary School. The Science Club and Technology Club planned the designs and painted the poles with ideas from students. Students painted the poles with base colors, painted flowers, and handprints. Ms. Deitsch and Mrs. Nease completed the final designs and pole placement. Each pole has a word on it that will greet students and visitors for years to come. The poles say: KES, Students, Teachers, Staff, Dream, Love, Peace, Future, Inspire, and Excel. Students from these clubs presented the project to the school board at the April meeting. The 2nd Grade Science Club thanks Root Lumber, New Leaf Garden Center for their generous donations.
