Game Recap | Varsity Girls Soccer vs Allen East

First game of the year for a very young team and we were impressed with the effort and the fight these girls showed to get this game to 2-2. The game was 0-0 at halftime. We gave up a penalty kick for a goal to go down 1-0 and came right back with a beautiful play from Ellie Minter to Jadynn Byers to tie the game 1-1. We dropped a direct kick that went in for a goal to go down 2–1, but fought back and a second goal by Jadynn Byers tied the game at 2-2. We had plenty of opportunities but couldn’t quite connect for that 3rd goal. Hadley Wilson ended the night with 7 saves.
