Kenton had some success at the Division II sectionals at UNOH. Amanda Van Horn defeated Maci Sparks from Ayersville 6-3, 7-5. Amanda fell to Leila Staley from Elida 1-6, 1-6. Presley Wilson defeated Madilynn Thompson of Van Wert 6-1,6-0. Presley fell to Riya Naroor from Shawnee 2-6, 4-6. McKenna Stanforth lost to Arianna Bowling from Bluffton 5-7, 1-6. The doubles team of Katelyn Stevenson and Mia Vermillion lost to Celina’s Lily Lunz and Kayana WIlls 1-6, 0-6. Kenton’s doubles team of Katie Lowe and Diana Nease fell to Lima Bath’s Mily Lammers and Maddie Cheney 0-6, 1-6.
