Kenton defeats LCC tonight to start the season by a score of 65-41. The Cats used a 20 point 2nd quarter and a 21 point 3rd quarter to open up their lead. The Cats were led in scoring by Sidney Payne who set a new Kenton single game scoring record with 41 points! Emori Criner scored 8 points, Lyla Gammon had 6 points, Kaylee Barlow scored 5 points while Jaz Long had 3 points and Kaiden Gammon scored 2 points. LCC was led by Carolina Kill with 14 points and Arionna Parrish had 11 points. The Wildcats are 1-0 and travel to Allen East on Monday.
