Kenton Boys Golf Edges Bath in WBL Match
The Kenton boys golf team traveled to Bath on Friday for a Western Buckeye League match and came away with a narrow 173-175 victory over the Wildcats.
Kenton was led by Austin Root, who posted the low round of the match with a 41. Oliver Sneary followed with a 43, while Quin Kozman carded a 44. Anden Goldsmith finished with a 45, and Rhoen Goldsmith and Clay Furr added rounds of 50 and 49, respectively.
Bath was led by Jacob Lee and Rickey Phillips, who each shot 42. Owen Schwarm followed with a 45, and Liam Longmeier a 46, while Chase Miller recorded a 48 and Eli Ripley finished with a 52 for the Wildcats.
The win adds another strong performance to Kenton’s season as the Wildcats continue their Western Buckeye League schedule.
