The Kenton Boys Golf team traveled to Prairie View Golf Club on Tuesday to take on Indian Lake in a dual match. The Kenton varsity squad came away with a 168-174 victory over the Lakers.
Kenton was led by senior Quin Kozman, who posted the team’s low score of 40. Anden Goldsmith followed with a 42, while Austin Root and Oliver Sneary each carded a 43. Brayden Lowe finished with a 47, and Rhoen Goldsmith recorded a 50.
Indian Lake was led by Reid Roberts, who shot a 40. Jaxon Snipes added a 43, followed by Crew McPherson with a 45, Jesse with a 46, Grant Wickline with a 47, and Mason Berg with a 48.
The Kenton junior varsity team also competed against Indian Lake, falling by a narrow 207-205 margin.
Clay Furr led the Kenton JV squad with a 51. Landon Hunsaker and Henry McCleese each shot 50, while Mason Smith finished with a 56. Tate Ketcham and Gabe Percell both recorded rounds of 57.
Kenton’s varsity victory gives the Wildcats another strong performance on the course as the season continues.
