The Kenton Wildcat 8th Grade Volleyball team returned to action Tuesday night, after a 10 day break, hosting Ridgemont and defeating the Gophers 2 sets to none.
In set 1, Londyn Crum served 10 straight points to take an 11-1 lead as the Wildcats cruised to a 25-10 set win. Set 2 was much closer. Both teams traded leads until the score was knotted at 21 – 21. Then Kenton put the set away as they won the last 4 points to win 25-21.
