The Kenton Wildcat 8th Grade Volleyball Team traveled to Elgin Wednesday night , defeating the Comets 2 sets to none. Kenton slowly pulled away from Elgin early in Set 1 building leads of 8 – 4 and 16 – 8 to eventually close out the set 25 -11. The Wildcats jumped out to a 8-0 lead behind Londyn Crum’s serving and withstood a late Elgin charge to take the 2nd set 25 – 15 and win the match 2 – 0.
