The Kenton Boys Varsity Golf team hosted a competitive tri-match at Veterans Memorial Golf Course on Monday afternoon, facing off against Parkway and Wynford. The Wildcats put together a solid team effort, finishing with a team score of 172, narrowly edged out by Wynford’s 169, while Parkway followed with a 178.
Senior Oliver Sneary led the Wildcats with a strong round of 37, continuing his consistent form at the top of Kenton’s lineup. He was followed by Austin Root, who carded a 43, and Landon Plauger with a 44. Cale Harshfield rounded out the team scoring with a 48, while Jack Whitmer and Parker Benson added rounds of 55 and 59, respectively.
