Emori Criner Drives 4 Runners Home In Kenton Varsity Wildcats Victory Over Ottawa-Glandorf Varsity Titans

Emori Criner drove in four runs on three hits to lead Kenton Varsity Wildcats past Ottawa-Glandorf Varsity Titans 11-7 on Friday. Criner singled in the sixth inning, scoring two runs, and singled in the third inning, scoring one.
Kenton Varsity Wildcats came back to win despite trailing 6-2 in the fourth.
Kenton Varsity Wildcats got on the board in the top of the third inning after Criner singled to center field, and Brayla Butler grounded out, each scoring one run.
Ottawa-Glandorf Varsity Titans jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Ottawa-Glandorf Varsity Titans scored on a passed ball, Addie Kitchen doubled to center field, and Macie Beaston singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
Kenton Varsity Wildcats flipped the game on its head in the top of the sixth, scoring seven runs on five hits to take the lead, 9-6. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Criner that drove in two.
Kylee Kavanagh earned the win for Kenton Varsity Wildcats. The righty surrendered six hits and four runs over four and one-third innings, striking out three and walking four. Kitchen took the loss for Ottawa-Glandorf Varsity Titans. The pitcher went seven innings, allowing 11 runs (five earned) on seven hits, striking out two and walking seven. Alexis Ratliff started in the circle for Kenton Varsity Wildcats. The starter surrendered three hits and three runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking two.
