The Kenton Wildcats Boys Tennis team traveled to St Marys for a WBL match Thursday night. The Roughriders took all 5 varsity matches. The Wildcats are now 2-2 and 2-1 in the WBL. At 1st Singles Garraden Wirbel lost to Jake Ackroyd 4-6, 0-6.Seth Spencer lost to Noah White 0-6, 3-6 at 2nd Singles. Brian Rogers, at 3rd Singles, lost 0-6, 0-6 to Bradey Triplett. In doubles play, Cale Harshfield/Wyatt Campbell lost to Ollie Chisholm/Korey Klosterman 2-6, 3-6 at 1st Doubles and at 2nd Doubles, Tate Ketcham/Jack Whitmer lost to Trent Ruane/Lincoln James 2-6, 0-6.
In JV matches, Jace Murphy/Richard Huang won 8-7. Leighton Wirbel/Parker Benson won 8-5. Ethan McNamara/Jackson Blue lost 4-8 and Brady Cole/Gatlin Davis lost 0-8.
The Wildcats turn right around and host Elida Friday night for another WBL match.
