The Kenton Boys Tennis team hosted Upper Sandusky Thursday night, losing 1-4. Garraden Wirble lost to Nick Nieset 3-6, 3-6 at 1st Singles. At 2nd Singles, Seth Spencer lost to Ryan Day 6-7 (1-7), 6-7 (3-7). Brian Rogers, at 3rd Singles, lost to Gage McWilliams 6-3, 2-6, 1-6. 1st Doubles was the lone winner of the night as Cale Harshfield/Wyatt Campbell defeated Chandler Elkins/Lyman Starner 7-5, 6-2. At 2nd Doubles, Tate Ketcham/Richard Huang lost to Bryden Groves/Grady Loverich 3-6, 1-6. Kenton is now 6-5.
In JV action, Paker Benson/Jace Murphy lost 0-8, Gatlin Davis/Jack Whitmer won 6-3, Leighton Wirbel/Jackson Blue lost 5-7, Brady Cole won 8-0.
The Wildcats host Wapakoneta Friday in the last WBL match of the season.
