The Kenton Wildcats boys golf team opened its 2026 season Friday on a winning note, defeating Delphos Jefferson 183-215 in a road match.
Leading the Wildcats were Austin Root and Oliver Sneary, who each carded a team-best 45. Rhoen Goldsmith followed closely with a 46, while Anden Goldsmith added a 47 to round out Kenton’s four scoring rounds. Quin Kozman shot a 51, and Kiefer Bushong finished with a 54.
The strong team effort gave the Wildcats a 32-stroke victory in their first competition of the season.
Kenton will have little time to celebrate, as the Wildcats return to the course tomorrow when they host Parkway.
