Kenton Boys Golf Defeats Elida in Home WBL Match
The Kenton boys golf team picked up a Western Buckeye League victory at home, defeating Elida 178-185 in a match played at Kenton.
Austin Root led the Wildcats with a round of 42, followed by Anden Goldsmith with a 44. Brayden Lowe carded a 45, while Oliver Sneary finished with a 47. Rhoen Goldsmith and Quin Kozman also competed for Kenton, each shooting a 47.
Kenton finished with a team score of 178, nine strokes better than Elida’s 185.
Elida was led by Tobin, who shot a 42, and Lane, who finished with a 43. Colton carded a 51, while Atlas and Owen S. each posted a 50. Dallas rounded out the Bulldogs’ lineup with a 52.
