The Kenton boys golf team dropped a close home match to Celina on Tuesday, as the Bulldogs defeated the Wildcats 170-174.
Austin Root led Kenton with a 37, turning in the top score for the Wildcats. Oliver Sneary followed with a 45, while Anden Goldsmith and Quin Kozman each carded a 46. Rhoen Goldsmith finished with a 49, and Clay Furr shot a 50.
For Celina, Ayden Klinger led the Bulldogs with a 40. Ethan Winner followed with a 42, while Leo Rolfes shot 43. Carter Shannon finished with a 45, Miles Schlater had a 48, and Aden Wiessinger recorded a 52.
Kenton is now 1-3 in Western Buckeye League play and 3-3 overall on the season.
The Wildcats will look to bounce back in their next match as they continue their WBL schedule.
