Katie Sturgeon is a first-year teacher who graduated from Ohio State this past spring with a dual license in primary and special education. A 2022 Kenton graduate, she chose special education because she likes finding different ways to approach a goal so every student can reach it. After three years in Columbus, she’s glad to be back in a small town. She’s on a mission to read every book on her shelf before buying or borrowing another — and she watches horror with friends.
