The Kenton Wildcats volleyball team delivered a dominant performance on August 24, sweeping the Perry Commodores in straight sets with scores of 25-14, 25-20, and 25-22.

Kenton’s offense was spearheaded by Alexis Ratliff, who powered the attack with a team-high 11 kills, four aces, seven points, and six digs. Geneva Norris added strong all-around production, leading the team with nine points alongside seven kills, three aces, and five digs. The playmaking load was shared between Kaylee Barlow, who dished out 11 assists to go with three points and an ace, and Adella Dudek, who filled the stat sheet with nine assists, 10 digs, seven receptions, and three kills. Layla Scott anchored the backline by handling a team-leading 18 receptions while adding eight digs, six points, and an ace. Linsey Winings provided efficient offense with seven points, two aces, and four kills, while Rileigh Barnt rounded out the effort with two points, two kills, and four digs.

The program enjoyed success across the board as the Kenton JV squad set the tone earlier in the evening with a commanding 25-7, 25-10 victory of their own. Building on the momentum of the night’s sweep, Kenton travels to Ada today looking to keep their winning streak alive.
