Ruth Swartzfager finished her Master of Arts in TESOL in May. She’s lived in Findlay for six years after stints in North Carolina, Connecticut, and New York. She wanted a profession that let her serve others, and sees education as a way to support and equip young people who aren’t always valued by the wider world. This is her first year teaching full time. She reads, hikes, jogs, plays piano, kayaks, does crosswords, and turns up for trivia night.
