The Kenton Wildcat 8th Grade Volleyball team played their 4th match in 5 days as they traveled to Indian Lake Saturday morning, losing a hard fought match 2 sets to 1.
Londyn Crum served 5 straight points, and Kennedy Kalb served 7 straight points to push Kenton to a 15-4 lead in the 1st set as the Wildcats took the set 25-17. Kenton and Indian Lake battled back and forth in set 2 with the Lakers taking the set 21-25. The Wildcats fell behind in set 3 6-15. Kenton fought all the way back to tie the score at 22 but ran out of gas as Indian Lake took the last 3 points to defeat Kenton 22-25 and take the match.
